Fall Community Circle ~ The Seventh Story

Table Grace is committed to supporting individuals, small groups, and organizations who desire to move toward thriving and life marked by connection, meaning, agency, blessing, and hope. The Seventh Story Community Circle uses a podcast conversation between Brian McLaren and Gareth Higgins to explore six stories which shape daily life and culture and lead to separation and isolation and a seventh story of reconciliation and love which moves our individual and collective life experiences in the direction of connection, compassion, and hope. This story framework helps us recognize and better understand the content we hear in daily conversation, news outlets, movies, novels, debates, etc. It also provides some tools to respond and feel empowered in the face of separation and cultural hostility.
Preparation for each week includes listening to 1-2 episodes of a podcast, with each episode approximately 45 minutes in length.
The Seventh Story series will be held by Zoom on Thursdays, September 26 - October 31, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm EST. Cost is $25. Register and pay your registration by clicking the button below.
Moving Toward Abundant Life
These reflections are designed to download and use individually, with family or friends, etc. - whenever it works for your schedule. Written originally as a series of Winter Reflections for the season of Epiphany, they are adapted for general use to explore more fully what it means to move toward abundant life. These reflections are available below as a printable PDF booklet or can be read on the My Stories page.
